what goes around comes around
karma. i don't believe it exists. mainly cuz if i were to believe that there will be a day of judgement where everyone will finally be judged (which i do), then karma shouldn't exist cuz people are punished/rewarded when judgement comes instead of in this lifetime.. and i'm not referring to reincarnation.. i'm referring to life after death -- eternal life.
while i'm on the topic of christianity.. you know how they always say that science and religion contradict each other.. and that 'hardcore' scientists would refuse to accept religion cuz there's no scientific evidence, etc.. i beg to differ! i think that science actually supports christianity..
many things written in the bible were actually not scientifically proven at that time and were only found out later on.. for example, the bible talks of water moving onto the seas and into the sky (referring to the water cycle), but it wasn't known at that time that there's such a thing as the water cycle.. when man discovered these things, it 'became' science.. and this 'science' actually proves that what was written in the bible in true.. since it's true but was unknown then, the writers of the bible must have been inspired by a higher being.. and so science proves that there is a God.. it also proves that the bible is inspired by God cuz how else would the writers know the things which were not yet found out..
so scientists may say that miracles like raising the dead that happened in biblical times cannot be real cuz it's just against the law of nature.. i would say that since God is all-knowing and so powerful, can your finite mind understand His infinite powers..? just cuz you can't understand it doesn't mean it's impossible.. just like human emotions.. can anyone explain how human feel the way we do..? the thing that makes us different from animals.. so if you can explain it, humans cannot possibly have emotions..? in the first place, miracles are defined as acts that defy the law of nature (science!).. so they are being just that..
and the creation.. evolution..? the big bang..? lifeless molecules coming together in a chemical reaction becoming everything we have on earth today?! how can it be..? how then do you explain, once again, emotions..? or the ability to think and reason..? from lifeless molecules to complex beings with emotions and common sense just like that..? it doesn't make sense to me.. as i study bio (science!), i get more convinced that life cannot possibly form by itself.. the complexities of the human body alone implies that there must be a designer who put together all the different parts and reactions within a body.. all the poor students studying biology should know that it's really not that simple! it's like saying in put parts of a watch into a box, shake it and it becomes a watch.. cannot be right?! isn't that against science..? surely there is a designer and a creator involved in all these..
